In Quito for a few days to see a real doctor. The 5$ guy was an idiot. Saw a real doctor. Had a blood sample taken. I have some kind of viral throat infection, but I should be fine within the next few days. Spent a lazy couple days loafing around. Went to the Guayasamin Museum in Quito which is very beautiful, but very dark. His paintings are incredble, but so filled with anguish in many of his later works that it is almost hard to be in the room. He has an amazing way of doing hands and ribs, and many pictures of people with guitars that are super evocative. Worth checking out. Today I am feeling better and am en route back to the village in about an hour.
